Murray Street Vineyards was established in 2001 when Andrew Seppelt and Bill Jahnke formed a partnership over a glass of Barossa Shiraz. In 2015 the Jahnke family purchased the Seppelts' share of the winery.
The Barossa Valley's Western Ridge is home to the winery's Greenock and Gomersal estate vineyards. They are characterized by a temperate climate and soils ranging from ancient ironstone to sandy clay loams. The vineyards are organized into blocks and managed separately. Murray Street Vineyards is inspired by the small batch winemaking of Rockford's Robert O'Callahan. Shiraz is the winery's hero variety, with Grenache, Mataro and Cabernet formidable contenders.
Murray Street Vineyards leading Green Label range highlights the best of the Greenock and Gomersal vineyards. There are wines at every price point: Red Label, Black Label and White Label.
